Community Council
The Community Council at Marlwood School
Each school in the CSET group has a Community Council, which includes parents, community and staff representatives. The role of the Community Council is to act as a ‘critical friend’ to school leaders, providing a local community perspective on the activities of the school to ensure that its educational objectives are achieved. The Community Council meet termly with the school's Senior Leadership Team to discuss different items of focus such as curriculum, behaviour and parent engagement. Councillors visit Marlwood during the school day, and attend school events to help inform the work they do in supporting the SLT in reflection and improvement.
The Clerk to the Community Council can be contacted at Marlwoodschool@CSET.co.uk
